BaubleBar (freelance)

2018

  • Worked as a freelance designer exclusively on their collaboration with Target for new line Sugarfix.

  • Produced innovative designs that were true to the aesthetic of BaubleBar while meeting the much lower price margins of Target.

  • Participated in a fast-paced and demanding work environment while working closely with the Design Director and Merchandising Department.

NES Jewelry

2016 - 2017

  • Senior Designer with responsibilities on a variety of accounts including Buckle, Justice, Rue 21, Hot Topic, Spencer’s, Steve Madden, Beall’s, Citi Trends, Family Dollar and more.

  • Achieved significant success with Hot Topic and Spencer’s, including a single item order of 55,000 pcs.

  • Developed packaging,  including cards, pouches, boxes and novelty gift items. 

  • Traveled to China to develop product and source new materials.

  • Communicated directly with factories to develop CAD collections in a timely and quality manner. 

  • Created in-house jewelry collections by hand for open-line and private label.

  • Researched trends and pitched ideas for the showroom and market presentations.

AKA Mystique

2013 - 2016

  • Designer for the Buckle account; other accounts include Charlotte Russe, Christopher & Banks, Charming Charlie’s, Forever 21, Target, Macy’s, Torrid, Modcloth, Lane Bryant, Francesca’s and more.

  • Within the first year, nearly tripled the Buckle account to almost 3 million annually.  

  • Commissioned by Buckle collaborate on an exclusive partnership to create high-end jewelry for their new line Gimmicks.

  • Additionally fulfilled the role of digital designer for a variety of jobs and accounts; responsibilities included label and card design, overseas product development and component design.

  • Sourced, designed, and maintained an extensive component library from the beginning.     

  • Frequently traveled to China to source new materials and work directly with the factories.

Vetta Jewelry

2011- 2013

  • Designer for the Kohl’s account, also worked with Nordstrom’s, Express and more.

  • Work directly with client for numerous monthly collections, as well as programs like grids/tables. 

  • Responsible for developing product to a narrow price point without sacrificing quality or originality. 

  • Study and adapted trends to suit the account; created trend reports and did competitive research.

  • Frequently traveled to China to source new materials and work directly with the factories. 

Echo of the Dreamer / Mars & Valentine

2007-2011

  • Designer for Mars and Valentine’s line of high-end sterling jewelry at Nordstrom’s, and Echo of the Dreamer's QVC line; developed the QVC line from the beginning, generating millions in new sales. 

  • Innovated new techniques to recreate vintage materials for mass production.

  • Worked with sterling silver and a wide variety of complex materials and semi-precious stones.
